Effective immediately group lessons are being suspended. I will be offering private lessons. I will offer semi private for my students that are in the same family. This doesn’t include clinic settings.

Please understand that when I post educational content I am not “targeting” anyone. It has been brought to my attention that people feel targeted by my posts on our group Facebook page. First, I post content that I feel will provide correct educational guidance to the bulk of my clients. Second, the likelihood is that if a post hits home with you, we have talked about it previously but am not “thinking about targeting you” when I post it. The reality is I have probably talked to 5 or more individuals about the same topic. If anything this should make you feel like you are not alone and in good company.

I am not a touchy feely person. I am direct and to the point. That means I may not be the instructor for you and that’s ok. There are a lot of instructors. I believe direct means that there is less room for misunderstanding. I acknowledge that this may cause hurt feelings at times. I try to temper my delivery but I also recognize that I am not going to be everyone’s cup of tea. I can promise you that I do not deliver information with the intent to hurt feelings. I will not debate about horses being lame, uncomfortable, or on the struggle bus. I will educate you and answer as many questions as you have. I will not listen to why you think your horse is fine and just being naughty. Horses are not machines and I am an advocate for the horse and an educator of the human.

My goal is to create functional horses that have educated riders. If that is a goal you are interested in, I can help you. I do not promise to never hurt your feelings. I promise to give you the best information I can provide to be sure you are successful. If I have taken you as a client, then it is because I believe in you and I want to invest my time to help. I see you as family. I do not take just anyone as a client. I am thankfully past having to do that. I also understand that you may find a better educator that better fits your goals. I wish you nothing but the best.

I will always continue to work and grow as a human and educator. I will never be perfect and I will make mistakes but I will learn from them.
