The weather can create detours to our riding plans. It is hard to get motivated when it is cold and wet. The short days do not help with motivation. We are fortunate in Texas, we don't have "winter" for months at a time. But when we do get it, the change is dramatic. Some areas deal with winter for months at a time, I do not live there for a reason. I have lived in it, and choose not to.
