Horses are not designed to be ridden. Horses are not straight or balanced. We are not straight and balanced. This is not a successful recipe to be a magically straight and balanced team. Our job as riders is to continue our education to become the best communicator we can be for our horses. We must continue to work on our balance and aids to best support the horse. The horses did not sign up for our agenda. In order to carry us well without damaging their bodies, we must continue to help our horses with balance and straightness. This is a slow process that requires daily commitment.
